The first floor of LantarenVenster is undergoing a major renovation. For years, the Rotterdam film and music theater on the Kop van Zuid was oriented towards the Wilhelminapier, with the radical development of the Rijnhaven this situation is changing. The Rijnhaven is becoming increasingly important and it is important that the entrance, catering and foyer adapt accordingly. The existing entrance will remain but the central entrance will be moved to the Rijnhaven. On the other hand, the hospitality industry will become more visible from the Wilhelminapier. This will be combined with a new look and feel of the foyer and expansion of the café. A stage for young artists will also be added. With these interventions, LantarenVenster is again ready to receive many more guests in an atmospheric setting at a fantastic location in Rotterdam.
Construction will take place in phases, while LantarenVenster will remain in use.
The project is commissioned by LantarenVenster. We support Lantarenvenster as project manager in both the design and implementation phase.
